We sweep chimneys across Greater Manchester and Cheshire, working out of Wythenshawe in south Manchester. Open fires, woodburners, multi fuel stoves and coal burners — no mess, free smoke draw test, certificate issued on the day. From £75.
We are based in Wythenshawe, which puts most of south Manchester and north Cheshire within about twenty minutes of us. That is deliberate. A tight patch means we can usually offer you a choice of times rather than whatever is left in the week, and it means coming back to check something is not a half-day round trip.
Our work divides fairly neatly into two areas. Follow whichever applies to you for local detail — the housing stock, the flues we typically find, and the towns and villages within each.
Victorian and Edwardian stock through Didsbury, Chorlton and the Heatons with several unlined flues to a stack, alongside the interwar semis that fill Timperley, Sale, Cheadle and much of Stockport — where reopened fireplaces are the job we get called to most.

A high proportion of period property, more listed and conservation-area buildings, and a good deal of rural housing where a woodburner is doing genuine heating rather than sitting decorative. Those flues need sweeping twice a season, not once a year.

We do travel further than our usual patch under certain circumstances — for larger jobs, several flues at one property, or where we are already working nearby. Ask and we will give you an honest answer rather than a maybe.
