Sweeping chimneys in Handforth
Handforth is fifteen minutes from us in Wythenshawe, which makes it one of the areas where we can usually offer a choice of times rather than whatever is left in the week.
It is a town of two halves as far as chimneys go. The older village core and the roads around it have Victorian and interwar property with masonry flues, a good number of them unlined and a fair few reopened in the last twenty years. Then there are the large post-war and modern estates, where a solid fuel appliance is almost always a later addition on a lined or twin wall system.
Those are quite different jobs, which is why we would rather ask what you have got than guess from the postcode.
